With over 35 years of bookkeeping experience and full BAS Agent registration, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to every client I work with.
After a long career in the accounting industry, Kate founded Serenity Bookkeeping Solutions over a decade ago to focus on helping small businesses get their books in order and keeping them there.
Serenity specialises in supporting businesses that are feeling overwhelmed or have fallen behind with their accounts. A “rescue job” is our favourite kind of challenge—there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing the relief and confidence our clients feel when everything is up to date, compliant, and under control.
Kate's goal is to make bookkeeping simple, stress-free, and efficient, so business owners can get back to doing what they do best—running their business.
Jo Lawther

A registered BAS Agent and holder of a Diploma of Business, Jo specialises in full-function bookkeeping, payroll, compliance, financial reporting, and system improvements for small to medium enterprises.

Melisa Loizou
Bookkeeper, Registered Bas Agent
Melisa Loizou is a registered BAS Agent and experienced bookkeeping professional with more than 30 years of experience supporting small and medium-sized businesses across a range of industries.
Holding bookkeeping qualifications through TAFE and Xero certification, Melisa specialises in full-function bookkeeping, payroll, GST and BAS compliance, accounts payable and receivable, and financial administration. She works confidently across Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, providing tailored solutions to meet the needs of each business.
With a professional and client-focused approach, Melisa is passionate about helping businesses operate smoothly and confidently by providing timely, accurate financial information that supports informed decision-making and long-term business success.
Kylie Bickerdike

Kylie Bickerdike is a small business owner in the building and construction industry with more than 20 years of experience in business accounting and administration. Throughout her career, she has also undertaken a variety of temporary office manager & accounts manager roles within small to medium-sized businesses across a broad range of industries. Her adaptability, versatility, and ability to transition seamlessly between projects make her a valuable asset to any team.
She holds qualifications in Business Management and Accounting and brings a wealth of expertise to Serenity Bookkeeping Solutions, working confidently across a range of accounting and business software - including the likes of Xero.
She is highly skilled in accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
